Summary profile (max.100 words) Iryna Voloshyna (PhD in Folklore and Ethnomusicology) is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Byrnes Institute at Indiana University Bloomington, USA. She co-founded and headed the NGO “Podillya Traditions Revival” in her hometown Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, and later worked for the Folk Arts Program at the New York State Council for the Arts, the New York Folklore Society, the Ukrainian Museum in New York, and Traditional Arts Indiana in the USA. After serving at the Award Committee for prize for safeguarding of the ICH, she recently joined the Expert Council for ICH at the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
