Mme Khanna Ritika

Ritika Khanna is a heritage consultant with expertise in intangible heritage and World Heritage. Her work involves researching, analysing and implementing international cultural policies, notably UNESCO’s conventions on Intangible Heritage, World Heritage, and Diversity of Cultural Expressions. She has served as UNESCO Consultant to the Ministry of Culture, Government of India where she spearheaded the implementation of UNESCO Cultural Conventions at the national level and facilitated India’s candidature at the intergovernmental committees. She has also been closely involved in the inscription of several elements from India on the Representative List of ICH and the World Heritage list. She has collaborated with esteemed organizations including UNESCO, ICOMOS, the Archaeological Survey of India, the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, and Ministries of Culture globally. Ritika has also designed and led capacity-building workshops on heritage for diverse audiences.
