Moffat Moyo (Gankhanani Moyo) is a Lecturer at the University of Zambia and a member of UNESCO’s Global Facilitators Network for the 2003 Convention. With a PhD in African Literature, he serves as Zambia’s national ICH trainer and national focal point for the Southern African Intangible Cultural Heritage (SAICH) Network.
He has facilitated numerous capacity-building workshops on community-based inventorying, safeguarding, and policy development across Africa. His expertise spans intangible cultural heritage, cultural policy, and the integration of living heritage into sustainable development. He is currently the national consultant for UNESCO’s Culture|2030 Indicators in Zambia and founder of Kalulu Kreativez Center for the Arts and Culture.
