I am an Intangible Cultural Heritage expert with over 14 years of professional experience in implementing the UNESCO 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. As Manager of Arts and Crafts at Lesotho’s Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, I lead national safeguarding programmes, UNESCO nominations, policy development, community-based inventorying, and capacity building. I hold a MA in Cultural Heritage Studies: Management and Policy from Central European University and I am a UNESCO-trained facilitator, collaborating with UNESCO to strengthen heritage safeguarding, cultural policy, and international cooperation. My professional engagement reflects a strong commitment to ensuring that living heritage remains community-centred, sustainably safeguarded, and effectively integrated into national and international development.
