• Maria Gulraize Khan is an international development practitioner based in Pakistan with 20 years of work experience in the field of Culture and Education. She has been involved in policy development, sectoral strategic planning, institutional development and capacity development for public sector cultural institutions. These tasks also focused on safeguarding and promotion of ICH. She was a National Project Officer (Culture) at UNESCO Islamabad office (2018-2020) on a sustainable tourism project in Punjab which had both ICH promotion and Heritage education components. She has a MA degree in World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development (University of Torino) and a MA in Mass Communication (Pakistan). She is currently working as an independent consultant.
