Marina Calvo, PhD is an anthropologist who works as a consultant in the field
of intangible cultural heritage. She carried out several needs assessments, technical assistance and trainings for the implementation of the 2003 Convention in various contexts. She managed and designed several projects and programmes in the field of ICH, cultural heritage and historical cities, social inclusion and cultural programmation. She has worked for UNESCO since 2011 and for several cultural and social institutions in the Mediterranean, Spain and Africa. She is interested in holistic approaches on ICH and sustainable development, innovation and quality management.
