Cultural Producer, co-founder of the Cumbre Tajín Festival and the Centre for Indigenous Arts (CAI), a formal educational institution for the transmission of tradition, arts and culture. In 2012, the CAI was selected to UNESCO’s Register of Good Safeguarding Practices. He coordinated the nomination file of the “Ritual Ceremony of the Voladores”, which was inscribed in the Representative List.
He has been the editor of several books and magazines and written articles and essays of ICH and indigenous cultures. He has collaborated with UNESCO on the development of safeguarding plans for the textile arts and for the Mayan Culture.
