The Foundation's work spans traditional medicine, wellness practices, cultural exchange, and technology integration, showcasing its capacity to provide advisory services to the Committee.
Health and Wellness-Oriented ICH Projects
WICHPDF integrates traditional health knowledge into modern frameworks through projects such as:
-Taiyi Exercise Prescription: Combines Taiyi Quan heritage with modern health management to create personalized wellness plans that promote physical and mental balance, and help prevent and manage chronic diseases through movement, meditation, and breathing exercises. Implemented in schools, communities, and health institutions.
-LifeWave Sound Therapy: Uses specific sound frequencies based on "Five-Tone Therapy" and "Qi Culture" heritage for non-contact resonance therapy to alleviate pain and enhance immunity. Provides global online health management through a healing soundwave platform. Sound waves have obtained multiple copyrights in the United States and China
-Smart Acupuncture Device: Develops non-invasive smart devices based on acupuncture and meridian Qi therapy that use soundwave resonance to regulate meridians. These devices have: multiple U.S. patents (Patent No.: 10925806, 2021; D948735, 2022; 11786440, 2023), pending international patents, and registration with the U.S. FDA.
-Functional Water Research: Applies "LifeWave" and "Smart Acupuncture" soundwave technologies, based on Qi-water theory heritage, to restructure water molecules for enhanced cellular absorption and detoxification. Third-party testing confirmed low molecular aggregation and high permeability, benefiting nutrient uptake and overall immunity and health.
These projects illustrate a unique integration of ICH with science, public health, and SDGs—especially SDG 3 (Good Health) and SDG 6 (Water and Sanitation).

Coopération
WICHPDF prioritizes collaboration with communities, groups, and individual practitioners who create, practice, and transmit intangible cultural heritage (ICH).
The Foundation maintains long-term partnerships with recognized inheritors of traditional knowledge, including the network of apprentices trained by Master Xunhua Zhang, a 13th-generation Taiyi Master, and founder of WICHPDF. These practitioners actively support the Foundation’s safeguarding initiatives through teaching, demonstrations, research, and public outreach.
The Foundation collaborates closely with martial arts communities, traditional medicine practitioners, and cultural educators, hosting live-streamed public classes, youth heritage delegations, and community-based health projects, including free Taiyi wellness workshops and soundwave healing sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
WICHPDF worked with schools, communities, and local governments to integrate Taiyi-based exercise and traditional health programs into curricula and public health outreach. It also cooperated with the Zhengzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Cultural Tourism Integration Development Center, directed by Li Guiling, to facilitate community-led exhibitions and workshops.
In 2023, WICHPDF was granted Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as an officially recognized non-governmental organization. With this recognition, the Foundation can participate in international meetings, events, and conferences convened under the auspices of United Nations agencies and programs. WICHPDF supports cross-cultural collaboration by inviting ICH representatives to global events, such as the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68/CSW69), participation in High-Level sessions at UN headquarter in NYC, Vienna, and Geneva and the International Chinese Martial Arts Championships. It also engages with Asian, European and African ICH leaders through dialogue and joint safeguarding initiatives.
Through these activities, WICHPDF ensures that communities and tradition bearers are not only beneficiaries but also central participants in safeguarding, transmission, and innovation processes.
