The deadline is fast approaching for the 93 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which were initially accredited by the General Assembly at its fourth (2012), sixth (2016), and eighth (2020) sessions, to report on their contribution and commitment to the implementation of the 2003 Convention and their relations with the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage for the past four years.

The Form ICH-08 Report is accessible in English and French on the dedicated webpage, and shall be completed and submitted to the Secretariat (ich-ngo@unesco.org) by Monday 17 February 2025.

This key process highlights the NGOs’ efforts in safeguarding living heritage and their support to the implementation of the 2003 Convention, as well as their contribution to the work of the Committee and their capacities to provide it with advisory services.

The reports will be examined by the twentieth session of the Intergovernmental Committee that will take place from 8 to 13 December 2025 (New Delhi, India).

For further inquiries, please contact the Secretariat using the following email address: ich-ngo@unesco.org.
