Ms Maite Zeisser Gutierrez

Maite Zeisser Gutiérrez has over a decade of experience as an intercultural facilitator in living heritage safeguarding. With a double degree in Anthropology and Political Science, she worked as an independent consultant in several countries and regions with community-based NGOs, public institutions, and in international cooperation, as a director-advisor for CRESPIAL (2017-2019) and Associate Project Officer for the 2003 Convention at UNESCO (2020-2022). Some of her work focused on multimodal training and courses development; coordination of educational projects, including teacher-training and pedagogical materials development; and coordination of publications and knowledge co-creation. Currently, she is conducting research on intercultural transformative education at the Environmental Learning Research Centre, Rhodes University, South Africa.
