Cultural officer at the Ministry of Culture since 2000 and member of the Project Management Institute. Damian has a master’s in public administration from the Dominican Republic. Recent certifications include UNESCO’s MOOC on Living Heritage and Sustainable Development (2022); WIPO’s Intellectual Property, Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions (2023); and IDB’s Project Management for Development (2024). Damian developed the Draft Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Trinidad and Tobago, and has also lectured in Intellectual Property at the Caribbean Yard Campus from 2017 to 2018.
