Getachew Senishaw Limeneh completed his PhD in 2014 from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He is an Assistant Professor of Social Anthropology at Addis Ababa University. He has over 14 publications and presented papers in more than ten international conferences. He has experience in intangible cultural heritage inventory, safeguarding, and management from expert to director levels in the Authority for Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage of Ethiopia. As an academic, he has been conducting research on ICH and teaching ICH-related courses. He was also a member of the Evaluation Body as an expert representing the sub-Saharan region of Africa.
