Ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage

The ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will look back at the projects implemented and the development of cooperation between public administration, research, educational and memory institutions, NGOs and bearers of the intangible cultural heritage of the Czech Republic. The event will include an exhibition “Intangible Elements of Traditional Folk Culture of the Czech Republic”

with video projections. Guests of the meeting will be representatives of the Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Folk Culture, regional offices for traditional folk culture, the Institute of Ethnology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, universities, the Czech Ethnographic Society, the National Council for Traditional Folk Culture, the Ministry of Agriculture, bearers of intangible cultural

heritage, as well as representatives from Austria, Germany, Poland and Slovakia, who participated together with Czech experts in the preparation of transnational nominations.
