Miguel Hernández is an anthropologist and social manager, specialized in the UNESCO 2003 Convention. He has over 15 years of experience working with intangible cultural heritage. He has contributed to the promotion and development of national safeguarding policies in Peru. Additionally, he coordinated the preparation of 10 nomination files to the Representative List of the 2003 Convention. He has also led and provided consultancy for heritage management in various countries and has served as a trainer on cultural matters in both national and international levels, applying community-based and sustainable development approaches.
