Mme Gunjan Joshi

Ms. Gunjan Joshi is a freelance heritage professional with a specialization in ICH of India. Previously, she worked as a full time Coordinator & Senior Researcher at the ICH Division of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage and has over 9+ years of experience in the field- coordinating events, workshops, conferences along with conducting research & documentation of the ICH of India. Currently, she has been involved in diverse projects with multiple organizations, such as AIACA, AIMA, INTACH, IGNCA, IBC, Deshkal Society, as well as with the UNESCO Clearinghouse on Living Heritage & Education.

An M.A. in Visual Arts from AUD, Delhi and B.A. (Hons.) in History from Miranda House, University of Delhi, she has been fortunate to represent India in various national and international events, trainings and workshops. She has to her credit, her publication- ‘Kashi Chitran-Living Heritage of Varanasi’ (2021), which was an outcome of her 4 year-long project work on the ICH of Varanasi for INTACH. Additionally, she is a trained Indian Classical Dancer of Seraikella Chhau and Odissi with experience in training, performing, and dancing for over 18+ years.
