Neel Kamal Chapagain is an architect from Nepal, currently a Professor of Heritage Management (Ahmedabad University, India). Under the 2003 Convention’s framework, he’s been part of the UNESCO MOOC ‘Living Heritage and Sustainable Development’, has worked with ICHCAP (International Information and Networking Centre for ICH in the Asia-Pacific Region), and as a key member of the Asia Pacific Higher Education Network for Safeguarding ICH (APHEN-ICH). He has research and teaching experience for integrating natural and cultural heritage, tangible and intangible heritage, and for advancing the intersections of heritage and education at multiple levels, particularly through the notion of contextual learning.
