Andrei Prohin has a PhD in history, specialized in the history of the Romanians. He is a research fellow at the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History (Chișinău) and cooperates with the National Commission for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Moldova in drafting nomination files, documentation and promotion of the ICH. His fields of interests include: ethnography, history, south-east european studies, religious studies. He has published papers and has delivered conference presentations dedicated to subjects from these fields
