Exhibition Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovenia
Slovenia ratified the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008, and the Slovene Ethnographic Museum has been performing the role of the national Coordinator for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2011.
The exhibition presents the rich and diverse intangible cultural heritage of Slovenia, which is still vital and had been inscribed in the Register by the end of May 2023 (115 elements and 335 bearers) and 6 elements that have been inscribed in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Exhibition was enabled by the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO.
