Susana Petersen, a social anthropologist trained at the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH) in Mexico, has over a decade of experience in national public management in Argentina. She currently works at the National Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Sites, where she coordinates the implementation of the UNESCO 2003 Convention. Susana has extensive experience in training and awareness-raising activities for identifying ICH elements and advises stakeholders on project design and implementation. She has represented Argentina at the category two centre CRESPIAL and at meetings of the Intergovernmental Committee of the 2003 Convention. Additionally, she has conducted technical evaluations of Argentinean nominations.
