Decision of the Intergovernmental Committee: 5.COM 10.1

The Committee,

  1. Having examined document ITH/10/5.COM/CONF.202/10 Part 1,
  2. Recalling Resolution 3.GA 5,
  3. Taking note of the debates in the current session of the Committee on the criteria for inscription on the Lists,
  4. Recommends to retain the criteria for inscription in paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Operational Directives, without excluding the opportunities to discuss possible revisions of the criteria;
  5. Invites States Parties to submit before 1st July 2011 to the Secretariat their views on possible revisions of the criteria and requests the Secretariat to circulate them to the States Parties before the sixth session of the Committee;
  6. Decides to include this item in the provisional agenda of the sixth session of the Committee without prejudging the current criteria.
