Ms. Anna Wai-Yu YAU is an independent heritage specialist on the management and sustainable management and development of urban and rural tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Her experience covers safeguarding of ICH, integration of ICH into formal and in-formal education, participatory approach inventorying, heritage assessment, creative entrepreneurship, culture for sustainable development, and higher education teaching and training etc. She worked as key member in the two UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Awarded projects in Hong Kong. She is also an accredited heritage conservationist (ICOMOS) and Project Management Professional (PMI), and a member of the Museum Advisory Committee (2022-2024) of HKSAR, and council member of Hong Kong Institute of Architectural Conservationists.
