Ms Victoria Phiri Chitungu

A cultural historian with post graduate qualifications in Indigenous Studies and Director of the Livingstone Museum in Zambia. I specialize in the documentation of Zambian cultures and have done extensive field research work across the country - most of the findings of which have been published - and also contributed to the documentation of Zambian Heritage that can be seen on permanent exhibitions in the National Museums of Zambia. I am a member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), a Board Member for the African Museums and Heritage Restitution Organization (AFRIHARE) and a cultural consultant for Women’s History Museum Zambia.
