Relevant projects and initiatives
A major activity of Shadhona has been the development of a digital ICH
Encyclopaedia which has been collated by training, through two-week
online sessions, 1,200 young people across the country and communities
in community-based inventorying who have been involved in gathering the
information on ICH elements. Many bearers and bearer communities were
consulted for this. Shadhona has designed a ‘Heritage Project’ in which it will
soon be applying the ‘cultural landscape’ approach used in Hong Kong in order
to develop a Manipuri community village in Bangladesh. This will involve building
a Living Heritage Academy
